Experience Amsterdam Rijksmuseum with an Entertaining Art Historian

If you want to visit the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum and come away with a rewarding experience, I highly recommend Karolina. We only had one day to see both. She showed us all the highlights and provided just the right amount of in-depth details without information overload. We are not art buffs but we felt like ones after the tour. Then she took us for a lovely hands-on street tour of some of the Amsterdam neighborhoods. Very knowledgeable, great personality, and a real pro. Thanks Karolina.

Karla arranged getting our tickets and met us at the Rijksmuseum for a 2 hour overview tour. All worked smoothly. Karla has an excellent background/education and was very clear and articulate in discussing the art, history and architecture of the museum. She also started in the ship section of the museum which was fascinating and area we likely would have not spent time on ourselves. She was quite helpful at the end of the tour and gave us suggestions for the rest of our stay in Amsterdam. I highly recommend taking an overview tour like this as the museum is large and can be overwhelming!
