Amsterdam is sometimes referred to as the biggest village in the world as it has a very pleasant and laidback feel. Ever since the famous Canal Ring was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, the city has become something of an open-air museum. Those of you with a keen eye for history and architecture are guaranteed to love it!
On this tour I’ll show you buildings that are 300, 400 even 500 years old. Besides being great to look at, their stories are incredibly interesting and entertaining.
I follow a personal philosophy of “infotainment” where, instead of boring you to death with just dates and names, I liven up the tour with fun facts and anecdotes. Although I’m a fully licenced National Guide, I have my own personal style of guiding. At the end of the tour I want you to feel as if a friend has shown you around the city.
Please note that each tour may differ slightly, for instance if it’s all guys, we might spend a little bit longer in the Red Light District, whereas if it’s all girls, we can take a little detour to the city’s best shopping area. If you have specific interests or wishes, just contact me and I'll see if I can cater to them.
