This is a fun way to get out and enjoy some of the nightlife while helping a good cause. Generally it's a fun time for just jetting around and hanging out, but there are great places to visit that you may have never been to and you can try a nice array of beers too.
Why you should visit it
Each pub you visit accepts donations for the Alaska Blood Bank. Everyone dresses up in costume, yes as a pirate, and meet new people, see places, and just hang out and have a great time.
Special tip
If you go by Value Village (thrift stores), they carry some serious (new) Halloween supplies that you can use on your costume for not much money.
