Off the beaten path in an upcoming neighbourhood between 't Eilandje and the university quarter, this bar attracts locals and students of all ages in a nice ambiance and with friendly owners and bar staff. During lunch they serve some cheap and fresh food, in the evening they pump up the volume a little bit and play catchy soulful (house) music.

Why you should visit it
At lunch Clodette serves fresh food like home-made soup and tasty sandwiches. Their hamburger is 'to die for' and a steal at 6,50 euros for this gigantic burger. They serve some of the best wines in town by the glass, have an extensive beer list and the music is all things funky, from soul to house to afro beat. Staff is always smiling and helpful.
Special tip
The hamburger is divine. They make a very good Aperol Spritz. Best time is after 8pm for ambiance or if you're feeling hungry go round 1pm.
