My sister and I will be spending one day in Antwerp. Even though it is not long we want to experience as much of it as we can. Any favorites you would like to share?

If you're into street art, check www.streetartantwerp.com or download the free Street Art Cities app.
Another must see is the rooftop of the MASS museum, discover the Antwerp skyline 😉

To drink:
- salscafe (groenplaats). You pay 10 euro's for a 1l cocktail!
- de muze (melkmarkt). Check their facebook page to see of they have live music. (As Dieter said ;))

To eat:
-manhattn's burgers (groenplaats, almost next to salscafe). They serve delicious burgers for a good price!
-Rosario (Suikerrui, it has a great view over the 'big market'). Italian Restaurant!

Enjoy your day in Antwerp!

Hil Allison,
Start with going to the top floor of the MAS museum (Museum at The Stream) to get a nice free view over the city, the river Scheldt and the harbour.

If you're into Modern Art, the M HKA museum, Zeno X Gallery (in Borgerhout) or Tim Van Laere gallery might cater to you. The Photomuseum is also nice.

In the old town near the cathedral, have a drink at De Pelikaan, a very old bar with a nice atmosphere on De Melkmarkt or De Muze, for jazz.

If you're here on a weekend day: spend a night in Meat Pack, a new warehouse of 5000 square meter in the still very raw Meat district of Antwerpen-Dam, filled with art, dj's, live bands, workshops, a food stall and a graffiti exposition ).

If you're going for late night drinks, visit Plein Publiek. A greenhouse with nice food, drinks and party's in the middle of two appartment blocks that are going to be rebuilt completely. Watch out, 3-7 january is their final weekend.

Favourite restaurants:

If you have some money to spend:
1) Graanmarkt 13 if you like vegetables cooked in a total different way. They also have a beautiful shop with clothes, design, art.
Average priced:
2) Bourla also on the Graanmarkt, a brasserie style restaurant with good Belgian dishes
Cheaper:
3) D'all dottore: best italian pasta and pizza place. The owner is a grumpy Sicilian guy, but if you tell him a few jokes and you are a girl as a bonus, he'll start to melt.

When are you going?
Have a good time.
