Why locals love it
Embros theater is a former newspaper factory that was shut down in 2007. In 2011 it was squatted and started operating again with the contribution of theater groups and locals who needed a cultural hub. Since then, it's open to everyone and it is based on self-management and people's financial support.

Why you should visit it
Embros events are taking place almost every day! Apart from the plays, there is also a self-managed bar, exhibition rooms and a chill-out area. Many festivals, movie screenings and discussions take place there and also a lot of parties are thrown on the first floor. All the events promote the ideas of solidarity and resistance.
