It's a local hide-out, mostly preferred by students. The decoration is very traditional and music and food as well. It's a classic haunt for big groups of friends that want to enjoy greek music with cheap food and drinks.
Why you should visit it
Kanaria is the place that will bring you closer to understanding the way youngsters have fun in Greece. It is suitable for all hours of the day but the rush hours are during night. It's always crowded and reliably upbeat. Food and alcohol are very cheap and the music is usually rembetikon (old greek music).
Special tip
It's impossible to find a table unless you go earlier than 9pm.
