From the very first day it opened in 2009, it became a favourite for the locals. It is located in the heart of the flea market of Monastiraki and it's almost impossible to spot the entrance in the small pedestrian of Normanou str. Looks like a scenery from an old greek b&w movie and maybe that's why Athenians love it so much.
The place is like nothing else in Athens. A beautiful inner courtyard with a tree in the middle, the bar on one side and abandoned little sheds all around. Usually interested exhibitions run on a regular basis, music is jazz/soul, coffee's great, drinks are clean and cheap and you rarely meet tourists.
Avoid visiting on crowded days like weekends, as it might became unpleasant experience; prefer to visit earlier at night for a first drink instead.
