Why locals love it
The name of this bakery comes from the city Thessaloniki, which is located in the north. "Bougatsa" is a typical snack in Thessaloniki, which is made of very thin layers of puff, fulled with sweet cream and cinamon, or cheese. It's something you have to taste while being in Greece.
Why you should visit it
Apart from the "bougatsa", you will find cheese pies, pizzas, minced meat pies, sausage pies and many more homemade pies. You can also have coffee or fresh juice. Outside the shop there are tables and chairs on the square right across. Having breakfast there is a nice way to start your day.
