We were delighted with our tour of the Acropolis and with our guide, Evita. After being disappointed a the “official” guides we hired at two other sites (Knossos in Crete and Pompeii in Italy) we decided to try booking a guide in advance. We have two boys age 11 and 14 and we wanted a guide that would engage them -- and us adults too. And we got it. Evita was fun, interesting, and informative. They boys (and my wife) rated her a 10 out of 10. She was really great at engaging the kids and asking them questions. So they felt involved. She used to be a teacher and it shows. The iPads with 3D views were a nice but optional addition to the tour. It still would have been good without them. Overall our trip to the Acropolis created memories that will last for ever.
Our guide was an invaluable part of our experience at the Acropolis. If it wasn’t for her, I would have been looking at a bunch of old white pillars that meant nothing to me. There was little to no signage to explain what you’re looking at. Marilena brought the monuments to life with stories of mythology and daily life in Ancient Greece. She had iPads with a cool program where you could point them at a site and it would show you what it would have looked like at the time. Really helped make sense of what you’re looking at. Our group was very mixed in background knowledge including a toddler, 10 year old, archaeologist, and adults with no background in Ancient Greece. Marilena kept everyone engaged the entire time. (With the exception of the toddler, but that’s to be expected. And she was always understanding when he was distracting or one of us needed to step away from the group. She was great with him and made us feel he was welcome and enjoyed- a trait we’ve found lacking in other tour guides when faced with a strong-willed toddler). I’d strongly recommend her to anyone. Marilena also recommended a couple amazing local restaurants that we wouldn't have known about. She came to dinner with us and helped us chose food and wine. She's such a wealth of local knowledge. We laughed together and learned from her expertise. I feel like I truly made a friend.

We met Maria, our guide and Nikos with Anna (the owners) also joined us for this experience, "Athens by night"!
It was absolutely wonderful! These guys enjoy very much what they are doing and are passionate to offer the highest quality of services.
We explored the best Athenian neighbourhoods and spotted 3 bars that we would have never come across if we were on our own.
The tour was fitted and organised to our needs and expectations. Therefore we did not wish to stop at the bars to have a drink, but rather walk some more and feel the vibe of the city. All cities by night are as much as alive as in the day but in a different rhythm.
Our tour ended at a local hot spot in Psiri area. We tasted a delicious Greek meal and drunk some raki.
We felt being amongst a group of friends as the guys treated us exceptionally! The night run through with a lot of laughter and fun!I may describe it as a private night tour with 3 local friends, what a gratifying feeling!
Totally "greeked"
We were on one of the nightcrawler tour and it was amazing. The history of Athen is much more than i thought. We visited not just the famous places but we got insight to the hidden places too.

Totally loved that night, the city and the team of the ;)
Amazing street art tour
We met with Sofia, our guide (and also a street artist) at Gazi metro station. Anna, one of the co-founders also joined us in order to make sure that everything was perfect for our private street art tour.
Sofia showed us places that only locals know and explained why street art is so famous nowadays in Greece. We also made a coffee stop at a very nice square downtown! The tour was great, we took many photos as souvenirs and explored Athens in a very alternative and local way.
Terrific Food Tour!
My wife and I and another couple took the Athens For Foodies tour. It was by far the best food tour we have ever taken. I can't say enough good things about this tour. For over 4 hours we walked around Athens, visiting bakeries, cheese shops, butcher shops, local restaurants and the famous Athens Central Market. We got to sample over a dozen delicious food items and beverages. And by sample, I don't mean one tiny bite per person. We had very generous servings at all of our stops. They are not kidding- you can skip breakfast before the tour, you definitely won't want to have lunch after the tour, and you may even think twice about having dinner that day! Anna and Nikos were perfect tour guides- extremely friendly, very knowledgeable about Athens history and Greek food and they are obviously foodies who love what they do. You may think that the cost is relatively high for a food tour, but it is worth every penny and you won't go away disappointed (or hungry)! Highly recommended!
Amazing Food Tour!
We went on the food tour this morning and had an awesome time! The guides were so knowledgeable and kind. We learned a lot about Athens while tasting delicious food! This is a must do when you're in Athens! Thank you so much for an incredible experience :)
