Description
Our journey starts with a short introduction about the tour’s schedule.
Equipped with an excellent condition bike for a relaxed and enjoyable tour, we will begin the exploration of the city, passing by the new Acropolis Museum.
During the tour, we will make stops at all the main highlights of the Historic centre of Athens: the National Observatory, the Ancient Greek cemetery (Kerameikos), Thission neighborhood, the Ancient Greek Agora, the Roman Agora and the Athens’ Orthodox Cathedral.
During our 20-minute break, you will have the chance to taste a traditional Greek dessert or a refreshment/coffee (according to the season) and relax for a while.
After the break, we will visit the scenic neighborhood of Plaka and pass by the local market for souvenirs and small gifts. Next, we will ride through the maze of the National Gardens, the best place to enjoy nice and shady trails.
Then, it’s time to cycle towards the Presidential Mansion and get impressed by the ceremonial unit of the Presidential Guards. The trip through charming Athens will be continued with a short visit to the Panathenaic Stadium.
