Sleepless Athens: Urban Nightlife

I was a single female traveling in Greece and wanted a way to go out at night without breaking the bank and while feeling safe. The Urban Athens nightlife tour was everything I was looking for! Our host was amazing--friendly, knowledgeable and very well versed with the city. We were able to hear authentic live music and had delicious cocktails, I would highly recommend this experience!

I visited Athens alone in March for a few days and so I opted for this tour in order to experience Athens night life without being completely alone. Well turns out i was the only person to book the tour that night! Typical my luck. However it didn't stop Dionysis and I having great fun in the city. He showed me the real Athens and where the locals like to chill out, relax, drink sweet wine and ouzo and nibble on tasty treats. At first I thought it would be awkward just the two of us but his laid back attitude quickly made me feel comfortable and before I knew it we were chatting like old friends! I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Athens but especially those who want a sense of the real Athens lifestyle away from the tourist traps.
