I was very pleased with the pace of the tour and the ability to ask any and all questions I had.
I highly recommend the tour with Najit.
We actually spent the whole day with Nijat. After the city tour, he took us to Yashil Bazaar where we got to try fresh fruit, nuts and veggies, dried fruit, sweets, halva, bakhlava, cheeses and kaviar. He helped us negotiate and buy what we'd liked. This was a lot of fun for the kids and yummy for all of us.
After that visit, we didn't need lunch and went to see the petroglyphs at Gobustan and the mud volcanoes. It was a fantastic day, full of different impressions and things to learn - all interesting in their own way.
We can't recommend going on a tour with Nijat enough!
Nijat is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide.
He provided good information about the places we had visited.
We walked through the old town and visited quite interesting places!!!

Nijat is a superb tour guide who will go great lengths to ensure that his guests leave with good memories of their trip to Azerbaijan. I’ve taken a lot of tours in a lot of places, but this one truly stood out because of Nijat - his guide style is really engaging (evidence of his previous training as a teacher!) and he genuinely wants to share his home country with visitors.
Definitely glad I ended up booking with Nijat! Was a great experience and the highlight of my Baku weekend.
With plenty of useful tips we were sure to get the best of Baku in the next couple of days.
During our tour of the old city, Nijat talked us through the history of Baku from the 12th Century to the present day, pointing out fascinating buildings, features and answering our questions about the city.
Nijat recommended different restaurants, cafes and wine bars to try, and what food to order when we got there.
We really enjoyed our tour and can't recommend Nijat enough,
I learnt so much more than about the places we visited
Highly recommend this tour.. a mixture of “ high adrenaline” with the Lada run to the mud volcanoes, pure fun with a great lunch and learning a lot about the cave art drawings and Fire temple.
Thank you Nijat !
