This tour is designed for budget travellers and those with limited time in Baku.
The start time is flexible, and I can pick you up from anywhere in Baku.
We’ll first make a short stop at the Sangachal caravanserai, which was built in 1440. Next, we’ll visit the Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape – an interactive museum with rock engravings from the 10th century BC.
We’ll then head to the mud volcanoes. Did you know that Azerbaijan is home to almost half of the world’s mud volcanoes? I’m not promising to show you all of them, but enough for an unforgettable trip. You’ll feel as if you’re an adventurer on a new planet!
On our way back, we’ll take the scenic route along the coastline. Keep an eye out for the Deepwater Jackets Factory and the onshore oil fields, which featured in the James Bond film ‘The World Is Not Enough’.
Our final stop will be the Bibi-Heybat Mosque.
