The first stop on your tour will be the Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape – an interactive museum with rock engravings from the 10th century.
If the weather allows, we’ll make our way to the mud volcanoes – a good place for an off-road adventure! Azerbaijan is home to almost half of the world’s mud volcanoes. I’m not promising to show you all of them, but 15–20 will be enough for an unforgettable trip. You’ll feel as if you’ve arrived on a new planet!
We’ll then head to the Ramana Castle, one of the Absheron castle complexes. There were once more than 30 castles and towers in the area, some of which are now just ruins.
Our final stop will be the Ateshgah Fire Temple.
During the trip we can stop for tea or lunch. A trip to Yanar Dag (Fire Mountain) at night can be added upon request.
NOTE: During winter months the mud volcanoes might not be available because of rain or snow. I will do my best to deliver you there, but if we don't manage this, you will get a 10% refund or a trip to Yanar Dag added to your itinerary.
