Qaranohur Lake is a mountain lake located in the Ismayilli. The lake is located 8 km northeast of the city of Ismayilli. It's 1520 m above sea level. Until the asphalt road was laid in the village of Lahij in 1966, the area around the lake acts as a stop on the road from the village of Ismayilli.

Description
The territory of the district was part of the Albanian state, which was formed in the late 4th century and early 3rd century BC, long before it was erected. Historical facts prove that Mehranis, who belonged to Javanshir, had created Girdiman's prince in Ismailli territory. Ismayilli region was established on November 24, 1931. The lake, chosen due to its natural beauty, has huge tourist potential and will soon become one of the main tourist attractions in the region.
Currently, a tourist picnic is being organized to explore the lake, and a walk through the beautiful landscapes, starting from the village of Talistan, takes about 2-3 hours. The minerality of the lake is very high and exceeds 1000 mg / l. Water is not suitable for agricultural use.
