Khinalig - the village in the clouds

Our transportation and guide will be waiting for you to start our journey to Guba’s Galakhudat-Khinalig hike. Guba region is in the northeast of Azerbaijan while Khinalig and Galakhudat villages are one of the most outstanding and remotely located villages of this area and entire Azerbaijan, which located 2,287 and 2132 meters above the sea level respectively.

It will take around 2 hours until we will arrive to Guba’s designated place where we will switch to the 4x4 (four-wheel drive) cars and enjoy the next 1 to 1.5 hours to the Galakhudat village by viewing breathtaking views of the amazing Greater Caucasus mountain range.

Let’s go for an amazing Galakhudat-Khinalig hike. It will take around 3 hours to reach Khinalig village which is one of the oldest and highest settlements in whole Azerbaijan. Local family will host us, and we will have a lunch prepared with traditional Caucasian mountain recipe. All products used in preparation of the food is locally and organically grown. Family is also vegetarian friendly so please advise us in advance.

From now on our 4x4 fleet will be waiting us here to take us first to Guba where we will switch to our transport to Baku.
