YARAT Art Centre is a permanent space for YARAT, the not-for-profit contemporary art organisation. It is housed in a converted naval building overlooking the Caspian Sea which acted as a maintenance base for navy ships in the 1960s. The building showcases temporary exhibitions by leading international artists and displays YARAT Collection.

Why you should visit it
The YARAT Contemporary Art Centre is conceived as a hub for contemporary art and art education not only for Azerbaijan, but the wider region as a whole. The organic café completes the centre by providing a space for informal discussions and gatherings. The auditorium provides a dedicated space for screenings, performances and educational events.
