Adjacent to the Mercat del Poblenou, the pedestrianized Maria Aguiló runs parallel to the local rambla. There isn't really any stores to single out, but here you'll find a variety of stores selling fish, vegetables, wines and much more. It's great for a quiet stroll on a sunny day, and you'll get a feeling of being somewhere truly local.
This lovely pedestrianized street lies at the heart of Poblenou, and both on and off it, there are a number of decent and cheap restaurants, as well as a market hall.
Check out the bodega at the corner of l'Amistat - great selection of wines and spirits. Get some tapas to go with it next door at La Pubilla.
