Why locals love it

Casa Lucio is not the cheapest place around, but boy, does that come through in the quality for their food! Even just a simple starter of sun-dried tomatoes and ham seem like a bold and fresh idea. The staff's friendly and will guide you though the options - or just take your preferences to the chef, who will then stuff you with local delicacies.

Why you should visit it

For Catalan and Spanish food, untainted by modernity, Casa Lucio is a great place to go. It's no budget option, but holding off the wines (tricky!) will keep the bill from exploding.

Special tip

Half the charm is sitting at the desk, sipping wine and eating tapas, while watching the street.

April 2019 - seems like the restaurant is gone, or the directions link is faulty. Ate at Casa Dorita instead and it was amazing.

It used to be a great place to visit. Unfortunately it was sold and it is a place to avoid. Awful service and poor dishes. You have been warned!

My family ate here recently, and it was one of the best meals we've ever had at a restaurant. Our Spanish is weak, but Lucio was so gracious. We muddled through with a mixture of Spanish, French and hand gestures. Two of our family members have celiac disease, and he accommodated them. The waiter brought out the food and explained what it was. And the wine...oh my gosh.
