Casa Lucio is not the cheapest place around, but boy, does that come through in the quality for their food! Even just a simple starter of sun-dried tomatoes and ham seem like a bold and fresh idea. The staff's friendly and will guide you though the options - or just take your preferences to the chef, who will then stuff you with local delicacies.
For Catalan and Spanish food, untainted by modernity, Casa Lucio is a great place to go. It's no budget option, but holding off the wines (tricky!) will keep the bill from exploding.
Half the charm is sitting at the desk, sipping wine and eating tapas, while watching the street.
