Why locals love it
Once a month, on the full moon, the beach at Mar Bella turns into something of a hippie gathering. As the night closes in, people of all ages gather at the beach to drum the night away. On a good night, we're talking several hundred people, dancing, drinking and skinny dipping till morning comes.
Why you should visit it
As all music is acoustic, these gatherings have not yet attracted the attention of the local police - how long remains to be seen. It's a great experience, and a good place to get into contact with the psy-trance-hippe-squat-rave crowd, who normally stay very under the radar.
Special tip
Bring your own drinks, as there's no bar or anything - enterprising locals can be counted on to bring drinks for selling as well, however.
