The Fundacio Joan Miro is dedicated to the famous painter of the same name. At the center of the collection, you have a huge collection of Miro's works; the changing exhibits showcase other artists and themes, but always modern.

Why you should visit it
The location is stunning - first through the museum and out back to the terrace. Also, the exhibits are great, and though Miro is famous, this is a great place to gain appreciation for his artistic development, as they feature both early and later works.
Special tip
For a further Miro fix, check the Parc de Joan Miro down the hill in the Sants district, close to Plaza Espanya. It's closed from 6th to 19th August.
