La Bata de Boatine2
Why locals love it
Carrer Robadors can generously be described as lively, which goes double for the clientele of Barcelona's sleaziest queer bar, La Bata. The tiny, narrow bar stretches all the way to the back, where you'll find a small dance floor.
Why you should visit it
La Bata is run-down, worn-out and a great place to meet people, local and foreign. It's a slice of something resembling Berlin in a city mostly dedicated to ritz and glitz - especially in the gay scene. It's a trashy kind of decadence, and a great place to have some beers or drinks before hitting the clubs. Music's usually decent, too.
La Bata does not really believe in scheduling opening hours, but you can usually depend on them being open from midnight till 03:00, except mondays.
