The park is a great place for couples to have a relaxing time, or for families to celebrate a birthday party. Being one of the most beautiful places in Barcelona, it offers you the opportunity to escape from the noisy and busy city while walking around under the palm trees and experiencing the Mediterranean vegetation.
Why you should visit it
Grab a book or your iPod and some food and make a picnic under a tree in its cool shade. If you’re feeling romantic, try renting a rowing boat on the central lake, and ask that special person to marry you. There’s an open WiFi network, but it’s stronger in some places than others, try getting as close as possible to the “W” signs.
Special tip
Although it is a very safe place, keep your belongings close! There is a bar, but you can buy cheaper drinks from one of the people selling them.
