In 2001, he opened his first tapas-bar Comerç 24, and in 2007, this one hit Barcelona like a ton of bricks, further cementing Abellans reputation for innovative and modern tapas.
Why you should visit it
Tapas 24 is extremely popular for it's delicate balance between classic and modern. Whereas Comerç set out to modernize our understanding of tapas, Tapas 24 is closer to the originals - yet somehow so far, in terms of quality and taste. Tapas 24 is a great place to taste the talents of Abellan without breaking the bank.
