My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Barcelona. The Cava Tasting was a gift from friends in Sweden and it became the highlight of our trip. It started with a tour in the old parts of Barcelona. Mireia was an excellent guide and spoke very good english. After the tour we went to a nice tapas bar for the Cava Tasting. We also learned a lot about how to make cava. It was very interesting and something I really recommend to everyone!

We’ll meet at the designated meeting point and walk together to the tasting location – a private room in a wine bar hidden in the streets of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter.

I’m a professional sommelier who has worked at two restaurants with three Michelin stars: El Bulli and Celler de Can Roca. I’m a Catalan native with a strong passion for and knowledge of the local gastronomy.

All tasting sessions have no more than eight participants, ensuring personal service and maximum interaction within the group.

My wife and I were on our Honeymoon to Barcelona & a family member bought us a cava tasting from Foodie and Tours . While many things to do in Barcelona, meeting "Mireia" of Foodie and Tours, was the highlight of our trip. She spoke excellent English, she was a student of Cava making and we learned so much about Cava. Furthermore, after the tasting Mireia walked us around a # of different districts and helped us familiarize ourselves with the area. She recommended great restaurants and I highly, highly recommend her for anything Barcelona and wine. You will be pleased.
