Perfect start of our Barcelona visit
We booked a private Born to Eat tapas tour on our first night in Barcelona. Marwa was our tour guide, and she was excellent! Even though the booking said maximum 8 people, she was able to have the whole group of ten people. We visited several great places for food and drinks, and Marwa was very knowledgeable about food, wine and the history of Barcelona. She also gave us some great suggestions on where to go for shopping, food and drinks during our stay. This was the perfect start of our Barcelona visit, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone that may visit Barcelona! Thanks again, will be back for more next time!

Great time!
Adrian introduced us to some amazing foods and drinks and gave us some history too. As we walked around, he pointed out other places not on the tour that we should try, which we visited the next day. Our tour group stayed out after the tour for a few drinks. It was a great way to learn about the city, the food, and culture, and make some friends too!

Must do upon arrival!
This was an awesome way to get an intro to Barcelona. Our guide was awesome and gave us the perfect mixture of history of the food and landmarks we were seeing. We got to see the 3 mains areas of the old part of town so it was a great way to get to know the city center.

This was A LOT of food! We were definitely stuffed at the end.

Highlight of our visit to Barcelona
Can't recommend this tour enough!
My family and I (there's 5 of us) were very keen to do a walking tapas and wine tasting tour during our short visit to Barcelona. We wanted to make sure we did a tour that wasn't too long, not too much walking, but plenty of tasty food and drink and I can honestly say Wanderbeak has hit the nail on the head with the tour that they offer! We were taken around the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona where we were given interesting information about the history, culture and local traditions, taken to unassuming but fabulous typical Spanish restaurants which we would never have thought to go in ourselves but I'm so glad we got to experience it, and tasted an array of different types of Spanish cuisines and deserts! To top all of that off, our guide Rowan was fab, very personable and chatty with a great sense of humour. He made the tour interesting and it is obvious a lot of time and thought has been invested into providing the best possible experience for tourists. I will definitely be recommending this as a MUST DO to any of my friends that travel to Barcelona!

Amazing workshop
We are a family of 4 (10 and 14 yr olds) who wanted a unique experience in Barcelona, so booked the Gaudí Tour & Mosaic Workshop and it was AMAZING! Christian started us off with a walking tour of some of Gaudí's (Casa Mila, Casa Batllo) and works by other architects of his time. He gave us a great overview of Gaudí--answering every one of our questions--and made the walking tour interesting to all 4 of us (not an easy feat, as it was booked on our second day there and we were jetlagged). Then he dropped us off at Angelika's studio where we could have stayed for hours working on our mosaics. All four of us were TOTALLY engaged in our projects. The best thing about this tour is you go home with both more knowledge of the city and one of its most famous architects and an amazing souvenir that you've made yourself. We LOVED this experience and would highly recommend it to everyone who wants something really special from Barcelona. Thanks so much, Christian and Angelika. You made our stay extra special!

Highly recommend this experience!
What a wonderful afternoon! Our family (teens and their parents) so enjoyed our private tour of Barcelona with Christian! He is incredibly knowledgeable about Gaudí and “modernism” architecture. We traipsed around the city, stopping to look at fabulous architecture and hearing great stories along the way. Christian is a wonderful guide, had lots to share and made the two hours fly by. After our leisurely, two hour promenade, Christian handed us off to Angelika and we made lovely mosaics in her studio in an hour! We had our own private space, were offered to either make a magnet or decorate the top of a small box. We all chose the magnets and had such fun creating a pattern out of glass or ceramic tiles, a la Gaudí! We left on time with our beautiful work of art. We would all HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful and unique experience! Thank you for such a fun filled and enjoyable afternoon!

Best Tapas Tour
Booked a private (4 people total) Born to Eat tapas tour on our last night in Barcelona. The tour was absolutely amazing. Rowan was our guide and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable about food, wine and all things Barcelona. We went to 4 different places for food. Each stop included drinks and last stop included wine tasting with 3 different wines. Plenty of alcohol was included. After the tour, we all went to an amazing cocktail bar with a killer atmosphere and drinks. This wasn't part of the tour but Rowan ended up staying with us till the end. The entire evening lasted about 5 hours. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a great night out. If you have at least 4 people in your group, doing a private tour is worth the extra money as it was not a big difference in price. Either way, you will not leave disappointed.

Worth it!
I'm not a big one for tours as I find them too big and non-traditional, however I could not be more wrong about Wanderbeak. My fiancé & I met with both tour guides Marwa & Rowan for their 3-hour food & wine tour and found it exceptional. From the easy booking process to the amazing food destinations and drinks to cure anyone's taste buds, the tour was more of an afternoon with friends.
We were the only two people on this tour and so we felt like it was a more intimate, private tour & felt very lucky!
Marwa also gave us some great suggestions on where to spend our birthday dinner and she couldn't be more on point.
Thanks again, will be back for more next time!

Barcelona Tapas Tour
My wife and I along with 2 friends were a part of a small group (8 in total) that took the Wanderbeak Tapas tour through Barcelona. It was a fantastic experience and truly one of the highlights of our visit to Barcelona! Our tour host, Blanca, was the most friendly, engaging and knowledgeable guide we could have imagined! The food was and drink was wonderful and we learned so much about the history and culture of Barcelona from Blanca's from Blanca's commentary along the way. She was exceptional and we recommend this tour highly to anyone that may visit Barcelona. Thanks Blanca!

Incredible food tour
Marwa was awesome! The experience was incredible – everything from the food, the history, the stories, and the company. The experience is unmatched. It felt like a group of friends learning about the history of this fascinating city and enjoying the best food and drink it has to offer. It didn't feel like a tour but more like a gathering of friends that you didn't want to end. Marwa was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and offered recommendations for other things to do in Spain as well. Best tour I have ever been on. Highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Spain!

Amazing time
Evelyn was an amazing guide. This was the first time we did a guided tour (and our first time visiting Barcelona) and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting this city. We saw a variety of local places to eat and drink and even went to a place that hasn't changed since 1625.

Evelyn was an amazing guide, she made sure everyone felt included and by the end it felt like we were just a group of friends on a long walk in the city.

I'll be a repeat customer for sure whether in Barcelona or other cities as they expand!

Fantastic Tour,
We were a bit worried with 8 tour participants when we started our walking tour on "La Rambla", one of the most touristy places in Barcelona. Our fears were quickly dispelled as we stepped into each of our stops and tried the tapas, foods, and drinks that are typical of a local. The story of food throughout the day was well thought out, and I would highly recommend this tour. Ask for Blanca, passionate, knowledgeable, unafraid to be open, and simply fun. In the end, it was like an afternoon stroll with good friends.

My family and I had an amazing tour with Francisco to Montserrat - highly recommend it. He picked us up at our apartment and was immediately friendly and engaging. We had a great conversation on our drive to Montserrat talking about history and geology of the region. He told us all about the Monastery & the mountain. We stopped at food stalls, he took GREAT photos, we saw the boys choir - everything we wanted. He tailored the trip perfectly to our interests and my kids. It was a wonderful day.

A four-hour tour that lasted almost five hours. The day was spoilt by being a very wet afternoon that almost derailed the tour but Francisco took it all in his stride and showed us what he could whilst it was raining but always hoped that the weather would fine up which it eventually did. We were able to spend some good dry time at both Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. Francisco's deep knowledge and love of his hometown is second to none. A great start to our four-day stay in Barcelona.

Excellent tour with friendly guide
I am not new to Barcelona, in fact I used to live in this city. However, the three hour private walking tour with Christian was surprisingly new and gave me plenty of new knowledge about history and architecture of Barcelona. The pace of the tour was excellent, the contents a good mix of well-known sights and hidden gems. I strongly recommend this private guided tour to anyone interested in knowing more about Barcelona, whether on their first visit or as a veteran of this city.

Amazing fun!
From start to finish, our young guides were animated and enthusiastic. They were extremely well informed about the area and the yummy food that was selected for us to taste. Our guides made it even more fun than it would have been anyway. Everything was interesting, but the wine was especially good and interesting. It was especially well presented, almost as well as a sommelier might have done. We were very impressed, overall. We would even do it again.

A nice souvenir to bring home
Christian gave us what felt like a comprehensive tour of Gaudi works and the history around the architecture in the city, which the adults in our group appreciated the most. He also had insightful perspectives on the Catalonian, Spanish and European cultures which were interesting to talk about. On the workshop part of the tour Angelika was very nice and all of us really liked creating simple mosaics. It was also nice to have something hand-made to bring home.

Highlight of our trip
I usually hesitate to go on guided tours because I'm afraid of being dragged through touristy schlock by a bored and indifferent guide but in this case, I had no need to fear because this tour was fantastic! Christian was a great host and was deeply interested in the history of the area. He was friendly, charming, and genuinely cared that we had a fulfilling time. This was the highlight of our trip and I recommend it highly.

A 'must do'
We thoroughly enjoyed our Savor Spain tour. Blanca is a delightful, bubbly, friendly guide who gave us an interesting history lesson as she took us through 3 areas with regular stops in quaint and interesting restaurants/cafes. There were only the 2 of us and a trainee guide. We walked at any easy pace through streets we would never have found on our own. A terrific introduction to Barcelona. Book to do early in your visit.

Our guide, Francisco Miro, provided expert local knowledge and planned an excellent day touring the old town of Sitges, the mountain village of Montserrat and the cava cellars of Freixenet. The itinerary allowed time to enjoy each stop, and included lunch at a hilltop vineyard restaurant. We recommend that visitors to Barcelona explore the countryside with Francisco, who also offers complete day tours within the city.
