Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in a comfortable vehicle and take you through the idyllic landscapes of the Costa Brava. You’ll uncover the mysteries and secrets of the most famous Catalan painter, Salvador Dalí.
From Barcelona, you’ll first head to Figueres. Become familiar with the streets and corners that marked the artist's early years and pass some of his favourite places.
Afterwards, you’ll visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum, designed by Dalí himself. This museum is considered to be the largest surrealist object in the world.
The tour will continue to Púbol, where the Gala Dalí Castle is located. In this medieval building, the artist created a place of refuge for his wife, Gala, equal to his love and admiration for her. The painter himself was not allowed to visit without an invitation from his wife, who lived there until the day of her death.
After admiring this romantic ode to love, you’ll go to the Platja del Castell – a cove that's completely surrounded by pine forests. Nearby, you’ll discover one of Dalí’s most little-known secrets, la barraca de Dalí, a small workshop with lots of special features.
At the end of the day you’ll have the chance to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Costa Brava.
