We went in this tour with Ruben, who is a very knowledgeable guide. We spent the time in the car talking about Dali, the places we would see, and their significance in Dali's work. Ruben switched between English (for my husband and me) and Spanish (for the other couple on the tour) so we could all follow along--plus I got to practice some aspanish comprehension. Great tour and a wonderful, knowledgeable guide--thanks, Ruben!

Description

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in a comfortable vehicle and take you through the idyllic landscapes of the Costa Brava. You’ll uncover the mysteries and secrets of the most famous Catalan painter, Salvador Dalí.

From Barcelona, you’ll first visit a small town called Figueres near the French border. This is one of the three points that make up the so-called Dalí triangle. Dalí was born and raised in this town. Become familiar with the streets and corners that marked his early years and pass some of his favourite places.

Afterwards, you’ll visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum, which is located in Figueres. This museum is considered to be the largest surrealist object in the world, designed by Dalí himself. You’ll be able to plunge into the painter's mind thanks to its collection of the strangest artefacts you can imagine.

You’ll continue in the footsteps of the artist to Cadaqués, a village where the white houses, the sea and the mountains merge into a single image.

Just a mile from Cadaqués lays Portlligat, where you’ll complete the image of the Catalan genius. At the Salvador Dalí House, you’ll see the studio where the painter created his most important works and take an intimate tour of the rooms where he lived with his beloved wife and muse, Gala.

Dali Tour with Portlligat
Is our second tour we do with this company as last year we visit also with them Montserrat. And they fullfit again our expectation. Dali Tour was exelent, the guide transport us to the magic and subrealistic world of Dali. Cadaque is a beautifoul town of Costa Brava and Dali House of Portlligat a very very special place. I completly recomend this tour and if is posible do it with this company, they really take care of everything.
Too expensive. Not worth it.

Spectacular
This trip was well worth it. Away from the city you see amazing views of Catalunya. The salt mountain was spectacular, it's definitely worth seeing. My family loved every part of the trip. Our tour guide Mauriusz was very helpful and knowledgeable. They picked us up at our apartment and kindly dropped us off at the restaurant we were wanting to go to in the evening.

Cardona and Salt Mine Tour
Overall a great day! We specifically came to Barcelona to book a day trip to Cardona and Salt Mountain. Communication with the tour operator was excellent, they were very quick to respond and professional. Our tour guide was also professional and kind, arriving at the specified time (9am). He was also very accommodating asking about car seats for the kids, advising what parts may not be suitable for those who are less mobile, and helping out when some of the passengers got car sick. Unfortunately the day of our tour there were protests/strikes all over the state. Our driver did his best to go around it all to get to our destinations. We had to miss out on the salt mines and entering Cardona Castle. We were able to walk around the castle, but as i mentioned, we came to Barcelona specifically to visit Cardona, so this was a disappointment. No fault of the tour operator as the protests and strikes were not in their control. I was expecting a walking tour of the town of Cardona or maybe a bit more history of the Castle and town, but we didn’t get that. Instead of the Salt Mines we went to Monserrat, which was beautiful and a lovely replacement for the Salt Mines. We were brought back as close to our hotel as possible (due to the demonstrations), around 3:30 pm, so the tour was no where near 11 hours long (but again, mostly due to missing out on some attractions due to the strike). Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour operator, just keep the lines of communication open as per your expectations.

Fabulous tour to Cardona and Salt Mountain
We had the best small tour we have been on. From the pick up at our apartment to the drop off at the end of the tour, our guide Ruben was amazing. The tour he provided at the castle, the walk through the Village of Cardona and the trip through the Salt Mountain were informative and the scenery was breathtaking taking. I highly recommend Ruben and the entire company.
