Happy Experience
I booked an e-bike tour with Agata. When I arrived I was welcomed warmly. Our group proceeded to a nice lounge area where she gave us clear instructions. We did a bike test run and then began the tour around the city. The views were incredible and Agata explained the history of each location. She also let us explore around to appreciate the views of the landmarks and take pictures.

I enjoyed chatting with her, she's was friendly, engaging and smart. I will be booking another tour with her on my next trip to Barcelona. Thank you, Agata, for giving me the best tour of the city!.

Phenomenal
I love being outdoors, so, I expected this to be good. Well, it exceeded my expectations. Ferran has knowledge AND experience. He contacted me before the hike to find out if I had a particular interest and my fitness level. On the hike, he shared with me interesting facts about the area and he made sure I was safe and that I felt comfortable.

I definitely recommend it! I got the physical challenge I was looking for, I took breathtaking pictures (I tried), and I experienced an unexpected sense of peace and joy. I LOVED IT!
Montserrat Mountain Hike from Barcelona
Spectacular
This trip was well worth it. Away from the city you see amazing views of Catalunya. The salt mountain was spectacular, it's definitely worth seeing. My family loved every part of the trip. Our tour guide Mauriusz was very helpful and knowledgeable. They picked us up at our apartment and kindly dropped us off at the restaurant we were wanting to go to in the evening.

This trip was a delight. My wife, my daughter and I were the only ones on this tour on a Tuesday in early April. We all had a very good time and recommend it.

Victor was our guide. While he drove us, Victor told us a lot about Dali’s life. As a result, in addition to learning about Dali the artist, we also learned about Dali the man.

I break the trip into three parts.

First, we drove from Barcelona to the Dali House in Port Lligat. You need to make reservations in advance and you have to get there on time. At the house, Victor was permitted to take the three of us through the Dali house by ourselves. So we basically had a private tour. Victor gave us a lot of insight into Dali and Gala. We enjoyed the house, the echo room, and the gorgeous view of the sea. Victor gave us time to explore the garden on our own, and that was very nice.

Second we drove to Cadaques and ate lunch at Casa Nun. We sat outside by the water. For lunch we had pumpkin and carrot cream soup, house wine, grilled cod and salmon, dessert and espresso. The food was excellent. Because it was such a warm, sunny day, Victor gave us some time to sit by the beach and walk around town. We were very happy with our lunch and found Cadaques to be a pretty town.

After lunch, we drove to the Dali Teatre Museum in Figueres. The museum, which was designed by Dali, was worth visiting. The art was well displayed.

Even though this is an expensive tour, you should keep in mind that the price includes tickets to both museums and lunch. Also, I often rent a car when we travel. I’m glad that I didn’t drive, because once you get off the main road, the drive to and from Port Lligat and Cadaques is difficult. It is hilly, the roads are winding, and you have to watch out for bicycles and slow traffic. By not driving, I was able to appreciate the spectacular views. Also, parking in all three towns is clearly a pain, and by not driving, I didn’t have to deal with that.

Cardona and Salt Mine Tour
Overall a great day! We specifically came to Barcelona to book a day trip to Cardona and Salt Mountain. Communication with the tour operator was excellent, they were very quick to respond and professional. Our tour guide was also professional and kind, arriving at the specified time (9am). He was also very accommodating asking about car seats for the kids, advising what parts may not be suitable for those who are less mobile, and helping out when some of the passengers got car sick. Unfortunately the day of our tour there were protests/strikes all over the state. Our driver did his best to go around it all to get to our destinations. We had to miss out on the salt mines and entering Cardona Castle. We were able to walk around the castle, but as i mentioned, we came to Barcelona specifically to visit Cardona, so this was a disappointment. No fault of the tour operator as the protests and strikes were not in their control. I was expecting a walking tour of the town of Cardona or maybe a bit more history of the Castle and town, but we didn’t get that. Instead of the Salt Mines we went to Monserrat, which was beautiful and a lovely replacement for the Salt Mines. We were brought back as close to our hotel as possible (due to the demonstrations), around 3:30 pm, so the tour was no where near 11 hours long (but again, mostly due to missing out on some attractions due to the strike). Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour operator, just keep the lines of communication open as per your expectations.

We toured with Spanish Trails last year and loved it. But this year's tours blew us away! We did the All Things Dalí tour and the Priorat Wine tour with the lovely Saskia guiding both. It was impressive to see her change gears from one day to the next and be so knowledgeable and passionate about both the art and life of Dalí and then to be able to teach and show us so much about the Priorat wine region. One visits way north to the Costa Brava and the other heads south to a completely different climate and landscape.

On the Dalí tour both the Dalí house in Port Lligat and the museum in Figueres were fascinating. Saskia really brought the life of Dalí out to help us appreciate both. The stop in Cadaques for strolling and lunch was a really nice touch to the day. It's a quaint, white washed, coastal artist colony of sorts with a lot of history. Getting to Cadaques by ourselves was not going to be easy and we weren't big Dalí fans, but we are now!

The Priorat region is one of the most beautiful and different wine regions we've ever visited. We enjoyed really great food and about 10 excellent wines. If you're in to full-bodied wines then this is not to be missed. Both are the more expensive tours Spanish Trails offers, but even as private tours, they were still cheaper than other tour companies AND included a lot more in the day. We could not recommend these experiences enough!

Thank you, Saskia!

There were 7 of us plus our driver/guide John. We met at the central post office near the Colon monument and were on our way in a modern minivan. Before Girona we stopped at a couple of lovely beachfront towns and did a mini walk. We also stopped at a typical "stone" town where the buildings were built by local rock from a local quarry. They had some lovely shops there. We also saw a burial site of a Visigoth ( the Visigoths were branches of the nomadic tribes of Germanic peoples). Our tour of Girona was wonderful. We stopped at the small Jewish Museum ( at one time there were 6,000 Jewish residents in the city). They had medieval tombstones on display that were from a local cemetery. The highlight though was the awesome cathedral. It was huge and awesome. John, our guide was fantastic. He was friendly, laid back and very knowledgeable. A full day and a very enjoyable with John and Spanish Trails. Would definitely use them again when I return to Barcelona!!

If you're thinking about this tour, just do it!
I'm don't usually do tours -- I'm independent and like to read and find my own way. This experience opened my mind, however. I learned so much about Dalí's life, work, and world from our fascinating guide, Andrew. There's no way the experience would have been remotely as rich or fun if I had gone sola.
On a practical level, it made sense, too. Port Lligat is very quite difficult to reach from Barcelona without a car, and the landscape is beautiful as you drive through the Pyrenes to the coast. The road is quite twisty, though, so you couldn't pay attention to the scenery if you were to drive yourself. Also, the tour included a delicious lunch with wine at a charming restaurant in Cadaqués. It was wonderful to be able to relax while our guide managed all the logistics. Andrew has great rapport with people at all of our stops, so everything went smoothly. It was a very special day.

Highlight of our Spain experience
I was with a group of five people total, and we were hesitant to book this trip because it was on the pricier side. However, we are so thankful we did! Everything about it was perfect. Craig our tour guide was so personable, so knowledgeable, and really he felt like just one of the group. There were so many small touches along the entire day that made this so special. After the museum, Craig had a special gift for us, he drove the van around to places so we would not have to walk, and we learned so much that we would not have learned if we were in a big tour group. Learning about Dali was something I’ll never forget. Craig was such a great tour guide, we even talked about him the rest of our days in Spain. He gave us insider tips on what to do with the rest of our time in Barcelona and was just a genuinely very nice person. Highly recommend! Thank you Craig!

John our guide and 7 of us set out in the morning for a great day trip from Barcelona. Monserrat is a mountain monastery in a breathtaking, hilltop location. John was very informative and we enjoyed meeting other tourists travellers is the word some prefer these days) who were English speaking. While the Monserrat trip was quite a mountain climb with amazing vistas, the highlights were our lunch down the mountain with great, simple good and free-flowing wine. And then our visit to a winery we doubt will get too many visitors - Pardes is leading edge and its owner will be too busy we think for a while working on his cutting edge, organic wines. What an experience! Thanks John for all your knowledge and driving skills. We would gladly take any trip Spanish Trails offered.

10-star experience
Amazing day! Cava, chocolate and a very knowledgeable tour guide who feels more like an old friend, it doesn’t get any better! Christian has access to a very old Cava House/Cellar and it was just so cool! We felt like VIP’s. After touring the cellars and watching them disgorge and cork the bottles we had a tasting in their beautiful garden . Great great Cava ...and many options. We took advantage of the lunch add on and it was spectacular. Delicious and very reasonably priced. Then on to Simon Coll, chocolate chocolate chocolate! I wish I bought more. Very professional tour of their facility and generous tasting . Take this tour, we had a great time learned so much on this delicious day away from the city. Would give it 10 ⭐️ if I could Thank you Christian!

Witty and articulate guide!
Although the weather was uncooperative, our trip to All Things Dali with Spanish Trails was delightful. Our guide Dan was witty, articulate, amusing and extremely accommodating. Everything went exceedingly smooth with times and meeting areas in Figueres and we were allowed to wander with a good bit of knowledge on Dali's work and what to look for. We then went to Cadaques which included a delightful lunch with superb food and wine before touring Dali's house and garden. Dan kept the group engaged and bonded and truly made the trip wonderful! Contacting the company was easy and communication was pleasant and sincere. My only regret was that we did it at the end of our trip as we learned so much and his enthusiasm for Barcelona was contagious.

Barcelona Tour & Cardona Castle Tour
We booked two tours with In Out Barcelona, and I wished I would have found them sooner! They are the only tour company that will pick you up and drop you off without charging an extra fee. We were lucky to have the same guide, Mariusz, for both tours. We were even luckier that we were the only 2 people on both tours. The company did not charge more because we were the only ones that booked the tour. We did theory tour of Barcelona with entry into Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. This was a great tour, and Mariusz had us everywhere on time. The castle tour was neat, and Mariusz went through the salt mine because the tour was only offered in Spanish. Both were great days, and I definitely recommend In Out Barcelona if you are visiting Barcelona.

Exciting travel trough the Roman times in Tarragona
We were picked up in the Hotel on time and with a friendly guide Alex explained plenty of histories and anecdotes on the way to Tarragona. He was very knowledgeable about the history and about the area we were going trough. We wanted to go to Tarragona because we wanted to be little bit out of the typical tourist tracks, and we could really feel the Tarragona Catalan soul, at the same time discover the exiting Roman past trough the city. As a final point we had a stop in the beautiful mediterranean city of Sitges, with a charming walk through the center and the promenade. We really recommend this tour. the company always answer us to all the question before we booked, so we really recommend this tour and In Out Barcelona Tours

Informative and fun
Cardona and the Castle were so beautiful! It was a small group of 4 and our guide, Nuria, was super informative and helpful. She knew a lot of history behind the castle which was very interesting. The salt mines were interesting and they provide their own tour guide for that but it's in Catalan. They provide an englidh audio guide to follow along but Nuria came along and translated extra info and fun facts along the way. The tour ended with a late lunch/snack at a lake which isn't on the itinerary but since our group was small was an easy detour. If you like history and getting to know the small town of Cardona then you will find this tour very interesting.

Our guide Charles collected us in Barcelona at 8:30am to begin our day long tour. The day was very relaxed and was one of the best we've had. We began in Monserrat and Charles' knowledge was very impressive, as impressive as the stunning views. For lunch he took us to a small restaurant in Monistrol de Montserrat were we enjoyed a fantastic meal with wine. From there we had a 40 min drive to Albet i Noya, a small family winery. Anna gave us a brilliant and very informative presentation and tour followed by a tasting of three wines. Thanks to Charles the whole day was very enjoyable. I can't recommend Spanish Trails highly enough. Many thanks again Charles
Montserrat & Penedès Winery Day Trip
An excellent personalized tour
Our guide Martim was very knowledgeable and very personable. As we were four people who booked the tour together, Martim proposed several options for each leg of the tour. The result was a spectacular walk along the side of Montserrat, a great 3 course lunch with wine at a small restaurant (BO2) at the foothills of Montserrat and a private tour with the owner of the Can Descregut vinyard. The result was a very relaxing and memorable day in which we gained a better understanding and appreciation of the Catalan region and the passions of its people.

I would highly recommend this tour. Well worth the price! Thanks Martim!

Discover Barcelona
I have taken few ebike tours prior to this one, and so I knew what to expect from the tour. It did met my expectations indeed. Nil was the tour guide, and I was lucky as it was a private tour for me, with my own pace. He showed some great places and explained the history of Barcelona which was quite interesting. The park, beach, and narrow streets of Barcelona were fun places to see on an ebike. After the sightseeing, the tour ended with a fine glass of red wine and another drink similar to champagne ( Sorry Nil, forgot the name again :) ). I learnt a lot about Barcelona, and Nil too :). Thanks for everything Nil !!

My colleague and I stayed a couple extra days after a week of business, and this was definitely a highlight. Saskia, our guide was awesome! She's very friendly, fun and knowledgeable about all things Barcelona, wine country and Spain in general.

She took us to two great wineries, where we got a great education on their grape growing process, history and tasting techniques. At the second place, we started with an authentic, leisurely lunch at a small winery restaurant where the wine make and his parents greeted us!

All in all, a fantastic day-- thanks so much to our superb guide Saskia!!
