Full-day city tour (7h)
Morning:
Barcelona is a very modern city, plenty of modernist buildings in the Eixample District, so we can't forget to visit the genius Antoni Gaudí's buildings. You'll see the facades of his most important artworks: La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera and the Batlló house.
Montjuic is the most important hill in the city. We'll visit a view point up there, to take beautiful pictures of La Plaça España, l'Eixample and the Old Town.
Afternoon:
The break for a lunch will be in a very old restaurant, with Catalan menu and delicious healthy food, next to the political center, inside the heart of the Jewish Quarter.
Let's go by foot to the origins of Barcino: we will walk among more than 2000 years of history and we will travel through its old streets. In La Ciutat Vella (the old town) you'll see the first stones of the Roman walls and all the Medieval city.
Visit ancient stores, interesting food markets, La Rambla, watch Picasso's street artworks, stop at gorgeous squares and buildings, discover Catalan traditions and culture.
You can also taste delightful churros with hot chocolate in a typical churrería!
Let me know if you want to add any museums or monuments to the itinerary which require entry (not included).
