Our guide, Chryssi, provided us with a really good intro to the old part of Barcelona. She was v informative, giving us an insight into Barcelona's history, culture, art & politics. The pace was relaxed, it was v easy walking, & Chryssi was fun, offered lots of helpful tips but wasnt pushy with these as we have had on some other tours. She was v generous with her time staying on afterwards to ensure everyone had all the extra info they wanted. We also liked that the initial group of over 40 people was divided into 2 so our group was v manageable at a bit over 20 people. We enjoyed it so much that we did the Gaudi tour today.

A super-interesting tour which included not only the touristy stuff, but also very interesting small details and stories about the local life and customs. Enthusiastic and interesting guides, who are willing to answer all of your smallest questions! :) A great experience and so worth while taking those 2,5 hours! Best investment of time and money during my stay in Barcelona!
We thoroughly enjoyed our introduction to Barcelona. As it was our first day and visit to the city it helped us enormously with some elementary details and orientation and some details of history, cultures and customs, even the boys were impressed. Chrissy was personable and good at answering our individual questions and helped us to make the most of our time in Barcelona, was attentive to the group and well worth the tip we gave her- shame on those Americans who walked away without tipping!!! The only negative was that we weren't sure where the start of the tour was and spent a little time figuring it out (at the Travelers Bar).
