Tour by Francisco

Experienced local tour guide for private tours, only your group, with 7 years in the tourism industry in Barcelona. Born and raised in Barcelona at the neighbourhood of Gracia, next to Gaudi's Park, Park Güell, my playground as a boy.

A traveller too that visited Europe, North America, Mexico, Belize, North Africa, Thailand, Bali, Philippines.

Also spent 8 years in England, graduated in a combined degree (Film and Arts).

In 2010, became a development tourism agent, where I gained the skills to develop areas and design tours for specific client's needs.

Sharp on the details to spot many thing that the naked eye tends to miss. I will be showing you my city and explaining the history of the neighbourhoods, giving you a lot of information of the sights, buildings and their artists/architects/engineers.

With me we will discover our most important architect Antoni Gaudi and his work, his organics, religious and masonic influences. Where he comes out with the idea of the four arm cross that coronates all his buildings with actual examples and much more. . .

Taking advantage of my photography background if you wish I will be taken some pictures of you from your visit in Barcelona and sends them to you as a keepsake at no extra cost.

Those smiles and memories does not have a price.

At the end of the tour I will help you to plan and what to see if you staying longer days in Barcelona.

In my experience as a tour guide and in life made me understand that each person or group is unique and what is fast for ones is slow for others. One of my skills is to quickly get to know people and develop a fluid and open communication to understand their needs and adapt the tour to them.

So feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.

And above all,

Welcome to Barcelona and enjoy your trip !!!.

Exceeded expectations
for Francisco’s tour (Private Tapas Tour with Transport)
Our tour with Francisco exceeded our expectations - he is an outstanding guide with a passion for local foods. At all of our stops he was able to give food and drink recommendations based on their specialties. He also took several wonderful pictures during the tour that were promptly emailed to us. We are planning a trip back to Barcelona in 2018 and plan to use him again.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tours

We had a wonderful time with Francisco on our tour to Montserrat and our Tapas Tour. He picked us up exactly on time at our apartment for both tours and we enjoyed every minute we spent with him. Our drive to Montserrat was lovely and Francisco explained the history of Montserrat as well as some interesting stories about the site. We loved Francisco's choices of restaurants for tapas and we would never have known what to order without him!
We had a great night with Francisco.

We walked to 2 nearby tapas restaurants and had a great variety of foods to sample. He taught us about the different offerings and encouraged us to be adventurous. He fit right in with our family of five. I would highly recommend this evening opportunity.

My family and I had an amazing tour with Francisco to Montserrat - highly recommend it. He picked us up at our apartment and was immediately friendly and engaging. We had a great conversation on our drive to Montserrat talking about history and geology of the region. He told us all about the Monastery & the mountain. We stopped at food stalls, he took GREAT photos, we saw the boys choir - everything we wanted. He tailored the trip perfectly to our interests and my kids. It was a wonderful day.
Excellent service! Francisco is not only extremely knowledgeable and friendly but accommodating and easy going. I was so happy to have had him while visiting Sagrada; the details provided by him made our experience there whole. And his actually spending his childhood in Guell Park gave us insights we would not have been able to get anywhere else. Thank you very much, Francisco!
A four-hour tour that lasted almost five hours. The day was spoilt by being a very wet afternoon that almost derailed the tour but Francisco took it all in his stride and showed us what he could whilst it was raining but always hoped that the weather would fine up which it eventually did. We were able to spend some good dry time at both Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. Francisco's deep knowledge and love of his hometown is second to none. A great start to our four-day stay in Barcelona.
Francisco is a wonderful guide who led us through some of Gaudi's Most impressive works and described them and all the colorful history and impact of his work. To add to this he is a very delightful guy to spend more than four hours with. He added personal touches including photos of us that arrived in our e-mail shortly after the tour.
Our guide, Francisco Miro, provided expert local knowledge and planned an excellent day touring the old town of Sitges, the mountain village of Montserrat and the cava cellars of Freixenet. The itinerary allowed time to enjoy each stop, and included lunch at a hilltop vineyard restaurant. We recommend that visitors to Barcelona explore the countryside with Francisco, who also offers complete day tours within the city.
