The Flamenco party was particularly successful. At the end of the evening a meal consisting of Tapas was served. We had conversations with people of all nationalities and it was a real sharing. Also as it was the birthday of one of the guests the restaurateur did not hesitate to offer us a bottle of champagne.

Misleading directions to the meeting point
my partner and I were very much looking forward to the Tapas & Flamenco evening in Barcelona. However the evening was soured by the misleading directions to the meeting point (The Travel Bar) on the ticket & website. These included a Google Maps view of the location of The Travel Bar. We followed the direction to the bar but failed to find it in the location indicated. We searched the surrounding streets; asked several locals but could not find the bar. We kept on searching the streets for an hour by which time we had passed out meeting time by over half an hour. This lead to feelings of anger over missing the event or even being scammed as the meeting point didn't exist. However after eventually asked some local bar staff who pointed us in the direction of The Travel Bar which was several street away from the location indicated. Luckily we joined the party just as they were about to leave the bar to walk to the Flamenco show. The Flamenco show was very impressive and the following Tapas was very enjoyable. However the whole event was soured by the underlying feeling of anger at the possibility of being scammed. Get the directions to the meeting point on the tickets clearer & accurate.
Sadly Dissapointed
When looking up for places to see or things to do on 'like a local' you'd expect to end up in places where locals actually go. Travel bar clearly is not one of them. The place only had tourists and was quite dirty. The entire evening was badly organized and also ended in a 12 course meal of very average tapas. We left after round 3 and would definitely not recommend it.
