We were picked up in the Hotel on time and with a friendly guide Alex explained plenty of histories and anecdotes on the way to Tarragona. He was very knowledgeable about the history and about the area we were going trough. We wanted to go to Tarragona because we wanted to be little bit out of the typical tourist tracks, and we could really feel the Tarragona Catalan soul, at the same time discover the exiting Roman past trough the city. As a final point we had a stop in the beautiful mediterranean city of Sitges, with a charming walk through the center and the promenade. We really recommend this tour. the company always answer us to all the question before we booked, so we really recommend this tour and In Out Barcelona Tours

Description

Spend a day on the warmer shores of Catalonia. Travel to the historical city of Tarragona and enjoy the beautiful town of Sitges with its magical streets and corners. The day ends on Europe’s best urban beach, San Sebastián, in Sitges.

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in a comfortable vehicle and take you to these two locations south of Barcelona.

Tarragona is situated on the Costa Dorada, which boasts beautiful sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The streets of the city contain one of the most important and best-preserved Roman archaeological sites in Spain, also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After the visit to Tarragona, you’ll go to the colourful and idyllic town of Sitges, situated in a privileged location where the sea blends with a beautiful landscape of mountains.

Nowadays, Sitges, the “Saint Tropez of Spain”, is a mix of traditional fishermen houses and a lively bohemian atmosphere, with boutiques, restaurants, musicians and artists in the streets. This combination will let you taste the pure Mediterranean flavour.

The day ends on the idyllic San Sebastián beach.

Mariano was our excellent guide, picking us up at the door it was a great trip his knowledge was fantastic, he was engaging and looked after us 5 old chooks very well. We had another tour to Monserrat with Mariano again was so pleased he was taking us as he loved history and was happy to share his knowledge with us which made this tour so much more interesting. Thank you Mariano for making our stay in Barcelona a memorable one.
Fantastic Tour
We had an all day Tour of Tarragona and Stiges with Bart. There was a lot to see with the highlight being the jaw-dropping Roman Aqueduct. Bart made all of the sights we saw interesting by selecting the very best things to show us. He was prompt very knowledgeable (including on topics not directly related to the tour), friendly and approachable. I highly recommend this tour and Bart for a guide.
