We did the Tapalicious tour and had so much fun with Marwa as our tour guide that we decided to do the Gourmet Gaudi tour with her 2 days later. The Gourmet Gaudi tour was extremely enjoyable as well. Since we felt like we already knew Marwa it was really like a friend showing us some of the architecture and the food she loves. Gaudi's work is incredible but the other architecture in the city is equally astounding and Marwa did a great job of pointing out the details that make Barcelona's buildings so incredible. We ate at Roca Moo and were not disappointed. Food and service were fantastic and it was great to be enjoying the experience with a local that was knowledgable enough to give us all the background information about the restaurant and its dishes. Again the portions were generous and great value for money.
I cannot choose the better of the two so if you can afford it, do both.

On our journey we take you back in time to the beautiful Modernism era in Barcelona, as we discover the people of the bourgeois scene, the architects, like Antoni Gaudi, they commissioned and the stories behind the creation of the most iconic buildings of the modernist movement in Barcelona; Casa Battlo, Casa Lleo i Morera, La Pedrera and Casa Amatller.
We enjoy our bourgeois journey in style, the same as the millionaires of the time did. We start with oysters & cava in a period beautiful bar, followed by an artisanal chocolate tasting in a beautiful modernist gem. All this before we indulge in a spectacular 6 course lunch at an award-winning Michelin-Starred restaurant.
We round off our lovely day in the life of the rich and famous, on a rooftop bar that overlooks the city. This is where you can relax as you take in the beautiful views of Barcelona, with some reflection on how amazing it would be if every day was this good.
