Jingshan is a small hill at the back of forbidden city, which once served as the emperor's imperial garden. It has a significant historical context – the last Ming Emperor hung himself here, ending the Ming dynasty. Nowadays, Jingshan park is one of the best vantage points to see and photograph the Forbidden Palace from.
Climb up to Wan Chun pavilion and you can enjoy fantastic views while standing on the top of the mountain and looking down at the city.
