The Pearl Market is a more formally set out than it used to be, and in truth is a little less chaotic and a little less fun. Nevertheless it always worth a visit if you are in Beijing, and a must if you enjoy a spot of haggling. Pearls, though plentiful on the first floor, are gradually being displaced by an the ever-expanding numbers of stalls.
