Interesting for a walk

Wudaoying Hutong (五道营胡同)

Why locals love it

There is a narrow, almost hidden Hutong that runs parallel to the entrance street to the Confucius Temple and The Imperial College Museum, one could say that it begins on Yonghegong Street, which has been modernized, with fashionable shops, with modern cafes, tea houses, and in general with fashionable and current products.

Why you should visit it

It only comes to life after 11am and there are some nice cafes for brunch. There are some shops selling craft, handmade jewellery and I like to come here after visting the Lama Temple opposite. The hutong is not very long but its interesting
