Hello Belgrade Locals!
I will stay 3 months in Belgrade. I'm organizing my trip and I found that Globaltel sim card could be my choice because I only need the internet (no calls or messages), but I found out too that is possible to pay the tickets for public transport by phone. Is it a good service?

No, it is not. Nobody does that in Serbia. Just buy bus plus. It is an electronic ticket that you use when you get in the bus.

Hi Claudia,

It is possible to pay only by android app, and you need to have MTS number.
The other solution is to pay by master card, or regularly you can buy prepaid busplus card which you can find/top-up everywhere in shops.

Thanks Mihailo,
So I will buy the prepaid busplus card.
Can you tell me if exist any app to plan trips on Belgrade public transport in English? Because I made the download of BusPlus App but I can't change the language.
Welcome Claudia,

Regarding public transportation guides, there is an international app Moovit (moovitapp.com) which you can use to get directions for public transportation. It works very well here in Belgrade also, all lines should be updated and correct.
