Why locals love it
The Toys Museum is the result of playthings gathered over decades by Luiza de Azevedo Meyer. The collection started with her own toys and those that belonged to her 10 children and 23 grandchildren. After she passed away, in 2000, her family kept the museum going, preserving and outreaching the cultural heritage of childhood in Brazil.

Why you should visit it
You probably had a toy you loved. Fancy or unpretentious, it will never be forgotten. Having that said, release your inner child visiting the Toys Museum, which showcases more than 5.000 pieces, from the end of the 19th century to present day. That will definitely bring you back memories of the good old days.
