Die Tagung is one of the few Kneipe around the hip area of Simon-Dach-Strasse, with an original Berlin flavour, people like it because of its incredible and funny collection of GDR gadgets, drinks are cheaper, it is never so crowded like most of the bars around, it is a chilling meeting point for many people of the neighbourhood.
Why you should visit it
Die Tagung is a very special bar (Kneipe), it looks like a weird museum. You will find inside symbols, statues, flags, pictures and many other original stuff of GDR, even part of the furnitures were originally machines and tools of East-Berlin factories.You will experience a piece of authentic Berlin's Kneipe life!
Special tip
Even the list of beverages reminds the GDR and it is called "Getränkekarte für Jungpioniere”. Just try this bier: "Rote Oktober", of course!
