Abandoned Spy Station - Teufelsberg

The forest is also great for hiking. The Spy station has some amazing photo opportunities, so its great for photographers. Also check out the huge Sand dune near by called the 'NSG Sandgrube'. Take the S9/ S75 to Heerstraße, or S1 to Grunewald and walk through the forest from there.

This is a company of responsible underground tourism so people are expected to fit that mood doing the tour. Apart from sightseeing they offer street art workshops, anti-pub crawls, twilight and urban culture tours. A free (tip-based) walking tour starts at 11:00 daily. Meeting point is at Alexanderplatz next to the television tower.

It's the perfect place for a romantic stroll, with surprises at the end of every side path. You may find: a graffiti wall, a huge steampunk water tower, a metal owl, an old steam engine, trees growing between the tracks, a birdwatching tower, a peephole revealing someone wonderful in the sculpture garden, a family of goats, and a quaint cafe.

Bohemian sunbathers, Turkish family grill parties and exam-preparing students all meet here. It´s not everyone´s taste, though: In case you prefer it clean & quiet you should head for another Berlin park.
