Hemp Museum
Why locals love it
There are only four hemp museums in the world, and Berlin has one them (one of the other three is, you guessed it, in Amsterdam). Don't be mistaken though: this is not only about legalising cannabis. Here hemp is presented as a plant that has many more useful – and legal – qualities.
Why you should visit it
Get to know about growing and harvesting as well as the use of cannabis in insulating material and textile and paper production. There´s also a section about the special significance of the plant in different cultures of the world.
Special tip
On special occasions (like the Night of the Museums) the museum offers hemp waffles and hemp tea.
