Why locals love it

Finding good pizza in Berlin can be quite a task. Casolare solves the problem: Generously-sized, thin dough and toppings to suit everyone from vegan to ultimate carnivore. Rumors have it that the punk-style Italian staff are not the friendliest, however, as with all these reputations about friendliness in Berlin: What goes around comes around.

Why you should visit it

Same story: Here you can get proper soul food after a long day in Berlin. Just follow the steps up to a wonderful terrace slightly on top of things - or at least the busy Schönhauser Allee, watch children play and fuel yourself up with damn tasty pizza!

Special tip

I Due Forni has two sisters in Berlin: Il Casolare in Kreuzberg (Grimmstr. 30) and Il Ritrovo in Friedrichshain (Gabriel-Max-Str. 2)

Hello Goodnight. I have eaten recently (an hour ago) in one of their establishments, specifically in Berlin at Schönhauser Allee 12, 10119 Berlin. We called two days ago to book for 20 people, when we arrive it is that they have forgotten the reservation, luckily there were not many people and 20 minutes later we got to sit down to dinner. The dinner was fine and of good quality but the service was a disaster; the waitresses were talking all the time between them and to ask for drinks we had to get up from the table several times, 3 different waitresses came and they did not find out what had been ordered and to top it off we only ordered 3 tiramisus and a chocolate mousse, They come and tell us that there is only one normal tiramisu and the rest are strawberry, that if we did not care, we said no and finally we ordered one strawberry, one normal and one mousse. The normal tiramisu never appeared and we did not complain because we were not so hungry either. The problem came at the time of the account, the tiramisu had pointed us and his waitress said that she had served it, something uncertain, it did not serve and after having left a good tip between all, the waitress forced us to pay the tiramisu that never They had served us. For not making a scandal and continue celebrating (because it was the birthday of one of us) we paid, but not without protest. The waitresses were rude, unprofessional, antipathetic, unpleasant, inept and incompetent. The quality of the food was incredibly good and yet it has lost 20 regular customers for this terrible service. Without more to add I hope for your interests to take action on the matter. Thank you and good night

My favorite pizza place. Also because of the building it is in and the huge terrace and interior. Another good choice for pizza nearby is "Il Giradischi" (The Record), Oderberger Str.
