Prenzlauerberg, Charlottenburg!

I live in Prenzlauer Berg. It is a lovely place in East Berlin, famous for its cozy cafes, where you can eat delicious cake and more. This area is a little bit 'posh' but really nice with its refurbished old buildings. Please visit on Saturday the week market at the Kollwitzplatz Platz. When the sun shines you can go over the market and enjoy the good food and local stuff you can buy there. The Mauer Park is on Sunday a nice flew market, where you can find both tourists and local people. Behind the flew market there is a big park with a lot of artists and musicians. Please visit it!
If you want to know, where you should stay in Berlin, it is not easy to answer. Every district is different in Berlin. Berlin-Kreuzberg is very multicultural with a good nightlife. BERLIN-Mitte is central, with a lot of shopping options. From there, you can go very easy to the other places around. And Berlin-Friedrichshain is between both. So hard to decide. Have a good time.

Central is anything between Zoologischer Garten and Warschauer Straße.
Around Friedrichstraße/ Hackescher Markt / Hauptbahnhof you'll be very close (usually within walking distance) to most classical sights.
The area around Warschauer Straße and Kottbusser Tor is perfect if you like more hipster and alternative environment.
Prenzlauer Berg / Eberswalder Straße is a bit more bourgeois, but still full with young people and cool cafes.

Hope this could help )
