Not to be confused with the actual Stasi Musuem, this exhibition on the Ministry for State Security and its practices is much smaller, free of any devotional objects but painting an honest and revealing picture on the atrocities done for the sake of 'security' of the GDR.
Being curated by the federal agency in charge of the Stasi history, this little place manages to tell personal stories, exhibit original objects and look at the narratives in a very in-depth and authentic way.
You can ask for a free-of-charge booklet in English explaining the exhibition at the reception desk.
