Part 1
We take a deep look into the coffee business, starting early, we’ll get an exclusive inside into the daily routine of a barista and third wave coffee shop owner in Neukölln. Before the masses arrive we’ll have a cup of speciality coffee paired with a light breakfast bowl. And of course we’ll have a private chat about what’s happening in the Berlin coffee scene right now.
Part 2
After this introduction we dive in deeper, heading to Kreuzkölln for a so called “cupping”, a professional coffee tasting. Our host, coffee shop owner and roaster, will take us to the private roasting room and brew us 3-4 varieties of high quality beans and explain step by step how to select the perfect coffee. You will learn how much there is to taste when drinking coffee. #no milk
Part 3
How are raw coffee beans transferred into the intensively smelling coffee beans? We’ll have a private session with the head roaster digging deep into the roasting process. Beside the roasting business, we will learn about the direct trade of coffee and what this means for farmers, micro roasteries, coffee shops and consumers, like us.
