My husband and I decided to book a tour while visiting Berlin. We did not know much about the food and had a general idea about the history. We booked a tour and immediately received an email with details on where to meet. Our tour guide was Emma. She was funny, witty and had so much information to share about Berlin. We had delicious coffee, currywurst, baked buns, etc! So much food but you do enough walking to not feel guilty about it :) Highly recommended.

Fun tour
Emma was a GREAT tour guide. Very kind, humorous and talented at matching the energy level of the group. I enjoyed her style of prepping the group with some information before showing us the sight. Great job Emma! The tour was intriguing. It was a perfect introduction to the city in a locals perspective. Definitely book a tour if you are interest in seeing the local spots. Yum.

Lived My Best Food Life
If you're looking for a fun, delicious, and interesting way to explore Berlin, look no further because Fork and Walk is pretty much it.

We were lucky enough to get Dov (who looks like Gene Wilder, I was struggling to place it the whole tour lol) as our guide and he was great.Truly the Wonka to our Berlin food factory tour. Very funny, personable, and most important, filled with tons of knowledge about the neighborhood and Berlin. I don't think we had a question that he couldn't answer; dude was a walking encyclopedia.

On the history side, I loved the mix of places that we went to. There were so many hidden gems that I would have never found on my own, but that helped tell Berlin's story in a beautiful and often thought-provoking way. We also didn't run into any other tour groups, so it felt like a very unique experience, really special.

On the food side, everything was perfect. The types of food, the timing between foods lol, the amount of food...I have no complaints. Everything was delicious (even the more unconventional things), and every stop was a chance to contextualize that food within the larger history of Berlin, so even while you're eating, you're learning.
On portion sizes, we shared everything and I was satisfied, but not stuffed.
To add context, I went to climb the Victory Tower after the tour, and death did not come. I was also hungry enough for dinner later that night, but didn't need any food until dinner. For me, that was a plus, because I wasn't looking to be out of commission for the whole day.

So overall, I had a fantastic time and definitely recommend that you stop reading reviews and go book your Fork and Walk tour. If you have active taste buds and like to have fun, you're gonna love it. I certainly did and will definitely go on another one next time I'm in Berlin.

Pro tips to keep the party going:
1. Ask for recommendations afterwards, and then actually go to the recommendations!! Dov was kind enough to provide a variety of them, and they were killer. So incredibly good, and consistently better than the spots I picked based off my own research.

2. Pay attention to your surroundings and take notes of things that you want to come back to. I was able to come back and pick up some beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces at some boutiques were passed, but I would have never found those places, if not for this tour.

Nailed it!
My buddy from Boston flew and dragged me along on a food tour ( I live in Berlin...). I was pleasantly surprised. Our guide, Dov, was a cool dude, well versed historically, and showed me some new spots I never knew existed in my hood. Good times.

Great tour
I had a great tour! An amazing sunny day, a small group of five people, and one amazing guide named Anastasia. The amount of food is huge, especially after breakfast, and I could hardly finish! Great value for money! Anastasia has excellent historical knowledge, beyond being madly nice. I enjoyed the combination of the stories about the places and the taste of the food. This was my first tour during the trip, and it was a great opening. The variety of food was huge - sausages, falafel, donuts, beer and more - was Beyond my expectations.the meeting place is convenient to reach, and the finish point is full of public transportation. Booking the tour through the site was very easy to use. Thanks for a great tour, and continue to bring great guides like Anastasia!

Highly recommend
Went on the above tour with Dov as our guide. We went to some great places to eat and learned a good bit about the city of Berlin. I went with a friend who lives in Berlin and he even learned a lot.

At the end of the tour Dov gave us recommendations of places to eat and things to do in the city. The next day we went to an Austrian restaurant he recommended and it was phenomenal.

If I'm ever back in Berlin I would do another food tour with this group. Highly recommend.
