You will meet your tour host at the RAW-Gelände in trendy Friedrichshain. There you will learn how to use the vintage rental Polaroid camera from the 90s. No previous photography knowledge necessary!
After the intro we will explore this former train workshop which is now a great place to capture fantastic street art and find out more about the scene in Berlin at the art and culture house Urban Spree. Take your first picture from one of the murals there and maybe even come back later for a drink or a live concert.
Our next stop is the close by East Side Gallery where you can find over 100 works of graffiti on remains of the Berlin Wall.
Finally we arrive at the fascinating Holzmarkt. Bars, Cafés, Clubs and even the smallest disco in the world can be found along with fantastic works of street art by artists like El Bocho and Klebebande. You will also learn more about the techniques and how local crews create their work.
This tour is about exploring! It is not about the most famous sights. It is for finding the hip, new and exciting details in a city. Join me and get to know Berlin from a new angle!
